Methodology

How We Measure It

Every number comes from TCGPriceAlert Hot Deals, our feed of underpriced TCGPlayer listings.

Underpriced listing
A TCGPlayer listing for a card or sealed product priced well below other copies of the same product for sale at the same time. Each one is checked against several price signals before it counts as a deal.
Sold
The listing disappeared from TCGPlayer. This can include listings the seller took down.
Repriced
The seller raised the price above the deal price.
Still listed after 48 hours
Nobody bought it in the 48 hours after we spotted it, so we stopped watching it. If a deal sits there for two days, buyers probably did not think it was that good, and that is useful to know. We learn from these to get better at spotting the deals people actually want.
Time to sell
Time from when we spotted the listing to when we saw it gone. Times are approximate, and the clock starts when we spotted the deal, which can be after it was listed.
Sample
Deals come from the cards and sealed products that TCGPriceAlert users track, for single copies shipped to the US with shipping included. It shows what buyers watch, not the whole TCGPlayer market.
Period
The last 90 days, recalculated every day. Rates only use deals at least 48 hours old, so every deal counted has a final outcome. Groups without enough data show a dash.
